Description of course of studies

Consumer Science is a world-wide rising field in research and higher education. It analyzes consumers in their economic, social and ecological environment. The Technische Universität München (TUM) offers as the first university in Germany a Master’s programme focusing on consumers and consumption. The internationalisation of this programme is fostered by the participation in the European Master’s Programme in Consumer Affairs (EURECA), which is funded by the European Commission (Directorate General for Health and Consumer Affairs). Aarhus University (DK), Wageningen University (NL), Warsaw University of Life Sciences (PL) and TUM are the members of the EURECA Consortium.
